The Lead: After two wins over SEC ranked opponents last week, the North Carolina women’s tennis team returns to the court to begin ITA Kickoff Weekend. Four teams will compete in Chapel Hill on Friday and Saturday. The winners of each Friday match will compete on Saturday with a trip to Seattle and spot in the ITA Indoor Championships on the line.

- Former UNC assistant coach Courtney Nagle (2014-2018) is now the head coach at Oregon.
- Kentucky boasts two ranked doubles teams by the ITA entering the weekend.
- Charlotte’s Lucia Quiterio enters the weekend ranked No. 98 in the ITA’s singles rankings.

- Last week, three Tar Heels garnered ACC weekly awards. Fiona Crawley was named the ACC Player of the Week while Reese Brantmeier and Elizabeth Scotty were named the ACC’s Doubles Team of the Week.

- Carson Tanguilig won her 75th doubles match last week.
- Reilly Tran eclipsed 90 doubles wins last week versus the Bulldogs.
