Women’s Tennis Opens Spring Slate at Penn


PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph’s women’s tennis team opened its spring slate on Friday afternoon, falling to Penn by a 4-0 score.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Penn (5-0) claimed straight-sets wins in the first, second, fifth, and sixth singles sets to earn the points on the afternoon.  No doubles matches were played.

Charlotte Kordonowy was level in the second set of her match in the fourth flight when play was stopped.

UP NEXT
The Hawks will visit Navy on February 3.
