ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland Women’s Tennis travels down to Detroit for their first competition of the 2024 season against Wayne State on January 27th. 

Prior to the start of the season, the Horizon League unveiled the 2024 Under Armour Women’s #HLTennis Preseason Poll with Oakland landing in 6th place with a total of 14 votes. With the addition of four new Golden Grizzlies, along with new head coach David Brown, Oakland looks forward to the opportunities that the 2024 season will bring. 

Last season the team finished with a 5-14 season record and a 1-5 record in conference play. The Golden Grizzlies had a tough fight in the first round of the 2023 Horizon League Championship against Chicago State falling just short 3-4 to end the season.
