Great-Grandma with Alzheimer’s Leaves Door Open Causing Twin Children Drown in Pool

Last week, twin infants perished in their Oklahoma City home’s backyard pool, causing widespread grief. 18-month-old Locklyn and Loreli Callazzo were discovered unconscious in the bottom of the pool by their mother, Jenny Callazzo after their Alzheimer’s-afflicted great-grandmother allegedly left the house’s back door unlocked. Jenny, a boutique-owning stay-at-home mother, was observed administering CPR to her children near the pool, which has a murky green hue and appears to be covered with algae. The police have ruled out criminal activity in their inquiry. The Callazzos created a GoFundMe page to fund funeral costs, stating, “These precious children were taken from us too soon. Any assistance you can provide with costs would be highly appreciated. We appreciate the kindness and support of everyone.” They have collected $5,000 of their $7,500 target.
