Tyler Christopher’s True Cause of Death Has Been Disclosed

Tyler Christopher, well-known for his part in General Hospital, died of a cardiac arrest on October 31, 2023, at the age of fifty.

The Medical Examiner Office’s report, acquired by TMZ on Friday, indicated that the Days of Our Live star died from positional asphyxia induced by acute alcohol consumption. It indicates that the actor was suffocated by the posture he was in while intoxicated.

Furthermore, coronary artery atherosclerosis, or the accumulation of plaque inside the arteries, was identified as a contributing factor, and his death was deemed unintentional.

The actor’s death was verified by co-star Maurice Benard. He described the Emmy-nominated actor as “a truly talented individual that lit up the screen in every scene he performed and relished bringing joy to his loyal fans through his acting.”

He also mentioned that Christopher was a “sweet soul and wonderful friend to all of those who knew him.”

The news also surprised the actor’s representative. “This news was incredibly shocking, and I am devastated by his loss,” he told Page Six. “He was a very gifted actor, and more importantly, an amazing friend. My heart goes out to his friends and family who loved him so much.”
