The West Virginia University tennis team defeated Marshall, 4-3, at the 7827 Tennis Center on Saturday in Barboursville, W.Va.

West Virginia (3-0) began the match earning the doubles point over Marshall. The pairing of junior Michaela Kucharova and senior Momoko Nagato defeated Marshall’s Johanna Strom and Emma Vanderheyden, 6-2, while redshirt sophomore Maja Dodik and freshman Maya Bordereau beat Marshall’s Doroteja Joksovic and Emily Schut, 6-2.
