Actress Emma Watson Suggests a Future Beyond the Stage

Emma Watson is taking a part-time degree study at Oxford University. She seems to be trying out new things, such as writing a book or a screenplay.

The 33-year-old actor became famous for playing the smart and sassy Hemione Granger in the Harry Potter movie series. During the two-year course, which will cost around £20K (almost $24.5K), she will study creative writing.

A source told the outlet, “The course is for older adults and can be done on a part-time basis, which is perfect for Emma’s schedule. She only has to be on site for four or five days a year because she can do the rest of the course online from home.”

Also, the university knew ahead of time that Watson, because of her fame, would have a small security detail with her “whenever she has classes to go to.”

During New York Fashion Week at the beginning of the month, the actress from “Little Women” was allegedly followed by a man.

Chad Michael Busto was later caught after he was said to have tried to break into Watson’s dressing room. The police say that Busto went into a dressing room at the venue and started yelling at makeup artists and models who were close.

He is said to have yelled, “I want to marry Emma Watson,” according to court papers. “Let me speak to Emma Watson. Let me take a photo with Emma Watson.”

But it’s not clear if Watson was in the locker room at the time or not.
