Hawkeyes seek 5th-straight win over Hoosiers in order to get to .500 in the Big Ten

What to know: Iowa is coming off an 88-78 win at Michigan Saturday. Payton Sandfort tied a career-high with 26 points and Tony Perkins scored 24.

Iowa freshman center Owen Freeman has averaged 14.5 points and 9.0 rebounds over his last two games.

Indiana has lost its last three games, to the Big Ten’s three ranked teams, Purdue, Wisconsin and Illinois. The Hoosiers lost 70-62 at Illinois Saturday, playing their second-consecutive game without 7-foot center Kel’el Ware, who averages 14.2 points and 9.2 rebounds. He has a lower leg issue.

Sophomore foward Malik Reneau leads Indiana in scoring at 16.7 points per game. He has made 57.8 percent of his field goal attempts.

Freshman forward Mackenziie Mgbako had 12 points and 12 rebounds at Illinois.

Coming off an 18-of-18 effort at Michigan, Iowa has made 79.3 percent of its free throws in Big Ten games, second to Wisconsin. Indiana ranks 14th with just 61.3 percent.

The Hoosiers are also last in league play in 3-pointers per game with 5.2.

Indiana leads the Big Ten in attendance for conference games with an average of 17,063.
