HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – With a historic 9-0 start to conference play, and an overall record of 15-5, Marshall’s women’s basketball team has broken into the Collegeinsider.com Mid-Major Top-25 Poll at no. 19.

Coach Kim Caldwell‘s team is 1st in the Sun Belt Conference in Assists Per Game (17.5), FG Percentage (47.9%), 3-Pt. Percentage (41.7%), 3-Pointers Per Game (15.0), Scoring Offense (91.5 PPG), Steals Per Game (13.0), and Turnover Margin (7.00). 

Prior to Tuesday’s announcement, Coach Caldwell met with the media HERE.

The Herd starts a three-game homestand Wednesday evening against App State at 6 p.m. from the Henderson Center. Tickets for all games can be purchased HERE.
