Justin Timberlake Is ‘In Studio’ for Something Major

Justin Timberlake enthrals supporters with the news of something new in store for NSYNC fans.

During his Tuesday appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the singer indicated that the boy band’s recent return for the song Better Place—their first collaboration in over 20 years—for the film Trolls Band Together will not be their only new release.

“We’ve been in the studio, so there may be something in the future,” he told host Kelly Clarkson.

Timberlake’s tease came as he reminisced “growing up in the industry and getting access to so much in the studio,” which drove him to become a “studio rat.” He continued, “I just loved being in there and I loved the creative process. And also as it pertains to harmonies, I spent some time with four other guys doing a lot of harmonies.”

Timberlake said that he felt as if no time had passed when working with old bandmates JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Joey Fatone—despite the fact that they hadn’t worked together on music for almost 20 years.

“That was fun,” he remarked. “It’s kind of crazy, like, there’s so much that just picks up right where it left off as far as the chemistry.”

The first sign of NSYNC’s reunion occurred when the trio went on stage to present Taylor Swift with the Best Pop Music Video trophy at the previous year’s Video Music Awards, prompting Swift to ask, “Are you doing something? What’s gonna happen now? They’re going to do something and I need to know what it is!”

They stirred up excitement for their Trolls song reunion by releasing photographs of themselves on social media prior.
