CAA Women’s Basketball Top Scorers Entering February: Here’s Who To Know


CAA Women’s Basketball teams have begun to establish positioning in the rankings, with Stony Brook (6-1) and North Carolina A&T (6-1) at the forefront entering February. 

With conference play underway and the 2024 CAA Women’s Basketball Tournament on the horizon, leaders have begun to emerge for multiple teams across the conference.

Charleston (5-2), which is third in CAA rankings, has two of the top-5 scorers in the CAA – Taryn Barbot and Jenna Annecchiarico. 

Stony Brook, which is tied for first place in the CAA, also has two players among the five best – Gigi Gonzalez and Khari Clark. 

These players have produced consistently and have had spectacular outings, such as Taryn Barbot’s 36-point game against Monmouth in January.

3. Derin Erdogan (Northeastern)

  • 15.9 PPG
  • 43.6% FG ( third in CAA) 
  • 4.5 Assists per game ( third in CAA)

4. Khari Clark (Stony Brook)

  •     15.7 PPG
  •     63% FG (First in CAA)
  •     7.7 Rebounds Per Game (Fourth in CAA)

5. Jenna Annecchiarico (Charleston)

  • 15.0 PPG
  • 90.7 % FT line
  • 6.5 Assists per game (First in CAA)

  • 14.9 PPG

When Is The 2024 CAA Women ’s Basketball Tournament

The 2024 CAA Women’s Basketball Championship will be held from March 13-17 in Washington D.C. 

Seeding for the tournament will be set at the end of the CAA regular season on March 9.
