The Frisco Arts and Culture Council is bringing back the FrozenFrisco community ice art display at the Frisco Nordic Center on Saturday, Feb. 3, according to a news release from the town.

An opening reception will run from 5-6 p.m. The exhibit will also serve a dual purpose to kick off that evening’s ticketed event, Team Summit Nordic Program’s Eat, Ski, Be Merry event, where participants will nordic ski or snowshoe by candlelight from bonfire to bonfire with snacks, desserts and beverages along the way.

This year’s outdoor exhibit will include a frozen campsite with ice seating and the work of community artists who will express their own take on ice as a medium. The exhibit will remain if weather conditions allow.

The newly formed Arts and Culture Council is bringing this community art project back after it was first launched in February 2020 and held again in 2022 by MakeFrisco, an informal group of community makers and artists.
