Lisa Marie Presley’s mother and grandchildren are honouring the late singer on her 56th birthday.

Riley Keough and Finley Lockwood celebrated their mother’s birthday on Thursday by sharing photos on Instagram. Lisa Marie was also the mother of Finley’s 15-year-old twin sister, Harper, and Benjamin Keough, who committed suicide in July 2020.

The 54-year-old singer died in January 2023. Her second birthday after her death falls on February 1.

To honour the occasion, Keough, 34, shared a throwback photo of her mother smiling in front of a city skyline while dressed in a jean jacket and short hairstyle. “Happy birthday, mama,” she captioned the shot.

Numerous well-known acquaintances of the Daisy Jones & the Six vocalist left comments wishing Lisa Marie a happy birthday and expressing their support for Keough.

Tatum O’Neal posted, “Happy birthday she’s in heaven in a good place of Heaven beautiful.” Lily Collins, the star of Emily in Paris, and Oscar candidate Lily Gladstone both shared white heart emojis.

Keough also reposted Finley, her sister’s Instagram Story, which featured another old photo of their mother. Lisa Marie donned a silver choker and her hair was pulled back in an updo reminiscent of the ’90s in Finley’s photo.

“Happy birthday, mama,” the teen captioned the photo. “I’m so lucky your [sic] my mom. I wouldn’t be who I am today without you. I miss you and love you so much.”

Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla Presley, also sent a message on her daughter’s birthday. “I miss you, ‘Yisa,’” she said with a black-and-white photo of herself and Lisa Marie from her adolescence. “You would have been 56 today. Still young at heart and yet an old soul. Mom.”

Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis Presley’s only child with Priscilla, died on January 12, 2023, at the age of 54.
