The New ‘Jurassic World’ Film Will Hit Theatres in 2025

Universal Pictures has revealed a brand new sequel in the wildly successful Jurassic World franchise, set to hit theatres on July 2nd, 2025. While facts remain undisclosed, here’s what we know so far:

The untitled film will apparently have a new director, with David Leitch in talks to take the lead.

To ensure that the Jurassic spirit is preserved, the famous David Koepp, who wrote the screenplays for the original Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park, has agreed to write the script.

It is unclear whether Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and the classic trio of Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum will return to their roles. Fans are curious to see if Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, and the original dino-whisperers will make a reappearance, but the studio is keeping quiet for now.

Steven Spielberg, the Jurassic Park mastermind, will be close to the action. He will serve as an executive producer through his Amblin Entertainment, ensuring that the franchise maintains faithful to its roots while expanding into fascinating new areas.

Universal is keeping the story elements under wraps, but given Leitch’s action experience and Koepp’s great storytelling, viewers should expect an exciting adventure that expands the Jurassic World universe in surprising ways.

Will it go deeper into the lives of dinosaurs that cohabit with humans? Will it feature new dinosaur species or revisit old favourites? Only time will tell.

Mark your calendars on July 2nd, 2025, when the dinosaurs return for another epic adventure.
