Jinyoung of the K-pop group GOT7 provides an update on his impending enlistment. The singer and actor are scheduled to begin his mandatory military service this year.

Although his agency confirmed that he would enlist in 2023, they admitted that a specific date had not yet been determined. Since the beginning of the year, fans have been waiting to learn when he will begin his military service.

Jay B, an additional member of GOT7, enlisted in the military without making any announcements earlier this year. Fans learned of his enlistment when he made a donation to a charity, which clarified that he is “currently completing his military duty as a public service work personnel.”

When fans asked Jinyoung about his plans to join the military, he said, “What are you curious about?” Don’t worry. I’ll let you know when I go [to the military]. No more worrying.”
