Gwyneth Paltrow smiled at photographers and said hello to them on Tuesday in Utah. She was getting ready for the second day of her court case.

Later that morning, however, the smile faded away when Paltrow’s attorney asked for a camera to be removed from the courtroom.

“Honor, we have a new camera pointed directly at my client right there,” Steve Owens, representing Paltrow, told the judge.

The camera was confiscated during a break in the proceedings, but this did not resolve the issue.

Later in the day, Owens expressed his annoyance with another media member.

“Still photographer on my client’s face, already nationally transmitted. So I’m mad, “Owens informed the court.

Julia Jenaé, a legal correspondent for Court TV, explains to Inside Edition, “Gwyneth Paltrow has expressed concern about the media, and the courthouse has taken measures to ensure that the media stays behind certain lines and does not film her when her attorneys are not speaking.”

Paltrow is in court with Terry Sanderson, a 76-year-old retired optometrist who claims the 2016 Oscar winner collided with him while skiing in Utah.

Paltrow denies this, stating that Sanderson was the one who encountered her on the mountain.

Sanderson allegedly sustained four broken ribs and permanent brain damage as a result of the incident.

On Wednesday, the X-ray of Sanderson’s injuries was presented in court, and an expert witness for the prosecution discussed his injuries.

“If he had been the one running into her, I don’t believe he would have sustained these injuries,” the expert witness testified in court on Wednesday.

Paltrow appears to be converting her sartorial sensibilities into sales via press coverage.

She wore an oatmeal turtleneck sweater with high cuffs on Tuesday, and a white belted cardigan by G. Label by GOOP on Wednesday, both of which retail for $595.

In an effort to minimize disruption, the judge has forbidden live tweeting from the courtroom.
