The Role of Host on Howie Mandel’s ‘Deal or No Deal Island’ Has Been Offered to Joe Manganiello

Deal or No Deal Island will no longer have Howie Mandel as its host. Instead, Joe Manganiello will be in charge.

Corie Henson, EVP of unscripted programs at NBCUniversal Entertainment, said, “The role of Deal or No Deal host has always been held by someone charming, hilarious, and devastatingly handsome.”

She also said, “When we took the show out of the studio and transported the game to the Banker’s island, Joe was the obvious choice.”

“He loves all kinds of games, lives for adventure and isn’t afraid to stare down a snake or two to help players win a life-changing payday and, hopefully, beat the Banker at his own game,” she said.

Thirteen brave contestants will go to a private island in the middle of nowhere for this exciting new task. There, they will set out on a season-long journey to try to win a lot of money.

In a tropical setting, people will take on a range of exciting tasks, puzzles, and the classic game of “Deal or No Deal.”

Manganiello will be the charming host. He will run the games, tell the players what the Banker is offering, and help them make split-second choices as they try to outsmart the mysterious banker.
