MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) -The event will be held at the MSU Riley Center in Downtown Meridian with a reception to follow at the max.

The max will celebrate the new members all year, as there will be different events to learn a lot about their contributions to arts and culture.

“I think its importance for anyone to understand Mississippi’s arts and culture history and how much we’ve contributed to arts and culture around the world, and so we just invite you to come here and learn about the artists that are currently in the hall of fame, others that are getting inducted, and explore our interactive exhibits, I mean you can not leave here and not feel proud to be an Mississippian because of the tremendous impact we’ve had on arts and culture,” Penny Kemp, President and CEO of the Max says.

The new members will be inducted into the max hall of fame in January of 2025, and will have their families in attendance as they are honored for they legacy in music.
