Luan De Lesseps Advises Shannon Beador to ‘Take Care’ After DUI Arrest

Luann de Lesseps’ reaction to RHOC’s Shannon Beador’s recent arrest showed that the housewives are keeping it classy.

On Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea Thursday podcast, the singer of “Money Can’t Buy You Class” talked about her current “Countess Cabaret” tour. She said that during the fan Q&A part of her set, she was asked about Beador’s drunken hit-and-run.

“The Shannon Beador thing [comes up],” the original New York housewife said, admitting that Beador has been on her mind ever since the news of her arrest on September 17 shook the Bravo reality TV world.

“Look, when things happen like that, there’s only one way to go,” de Lessep told her fellow mother, giving her a more positive outlook.

“I’m sure this is a great wakeup call for her and I’m sure she’s on the way of taking good care of herself. And I hope that she is,” the Countess told Beador as a way to cheer him up.

Beador, who is 59 years old, was arrested for driving under the influence and then crashing into a house. Her lawyer told Page Six that she is “ready to accept full responsibility” for what she did.

But De Lesseps, who is 58 years old, could understand Beador’s position. In 2017, WPTV said that De Lesseps was charged with disorderly intoxication battery on an officer, resisting arrest, and threatening a public servant.

But this isn’t the first time Beador’s coworkers have said nice things about her.

US Weekly says that Gina Kirschenheiter from RHOC has also shown sympathy for Beador in the past, even though the two are said to be in a fight.
