Nickelodeon Has Renewed ‘Spongebob Squarepants’ for a 15th Season

Nickelodeon has picked up the popular cartoon show Spongebob SquarePants for a 15th season.

The next season will have 26 episodes. Since the show’s start in 1999, there have been 345 episodes in total. In 2024, the show will have been on the air for 25 years.

The extension is announced before the start of Season 14, which is set to start in November.

The voices of the characters in the cartoon series are done by Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick Star), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy Cheeks), and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton).

SpongeBob SquarePants is still a popular show and one of Nickelodeon and Paramount’s most important shows.

It has been the most watched animated show for 21 years in a row. It is one of the most widely distributed films in Paramount’s history.

So far, there have been three SpongeBob movies, a Broadway show, computer games, and other things based on the show.

Stephen Hillenburg, who was the man behind SpongeBob SquarePants, died in 2018. The show is now made by Nickelodeon in Burbank, California.

Marc Ceccarelli and Vincent Waller are in charge of SpongeBob SquarePants, The Patrick Star Show, and Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years.

Production is run by Kelley Gardner, vice president of current shows, animation at Nickelodeon, and Claudia Spinelli, senior vice president of animation for big kids.
