Hugh Jackman recently paid Michael Gambon, a famous actor, an honor on social media.
On September 29, the actor who played Wolverine wrote about Gambon on his Instagram Story.
Hugh said in a statement that he was “saddened” to hear that Gambon had died at the age of 82 in a hospital on September 28 after being treated for pneumonia.
Hugh met and worked with the famous actor Michael Gambon in the short film Standing Room Only, which was made by his ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness. Hugh said he felt “lucky” to meet and work with Gambon.
The Logan star said, “For me, he is one of the greatest actors I have ever seen.”
Hugh said that Gambon’s act in “The Singing Detective” was “amazing.”
Hugh finished by saying, “Thank you, Michael, for the inspiration. I still strive with every performance to reach the heights of your brilliance.”
After getting divorced from Deborra-Lee two weeks ago, the X-Men star was seen out and about in New York City earlier this week.
After he broke up with his girlfriend, the star has been trying to heal his heart by spending time in nature or going shopping.
In a joint statement that was shared by PEOPLE on September 18, the couple said that after 27 years of marriage, they had chosen to end it on good terms.
