It’s possible that Selena Gomez is entering Blonde 2.0.

On Sunday, March 26th, 2023, the Only Murders in the Building star posted a throwback to her blonde days on Instagram and teased fans with something new this summer.

In the photograph, Gomez displays her bleached blonde hair while posing in a chic swimsuit in front of a mirror. The picture looks like it was captured in 2021 when the singer dyed her hair blonde. omez made the change in 2017, according to Entertainment Tonight.

The Hands to Myself singer wrote in the caption, “TBT to blondie sel. Summers coming! So many exciting things coming!”

The singer’s post follows the news of her New York City date with Zayn Malik.

Thursday evening, an eyewitness told ET that Gomez and the Pillowtalk singer dined in the Soho neighborhood.

“Selena and Zayn went out in SoHo in New York City around 10:30 p.m. last night, according to an eyewitness.

“They walked in holding hands and were kissing. Most restaurant staff and restaurantgoers didn’t notice them. It seemed like they were comfortable together and it was clear that it was a date.”

While the Instagram post was ambiguous and did not point to a specific thing, the singer and actress are currently involved in several projects.

After the release of Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me in November 2022, the founder of Rare Beauty is filming the third season of Only Murders in the Building.

In addition, she revealed during promotional interviews for her documentary that she has been working on new music for some time. In an interview for the most recent Vanity Fair cover story, the Rare singer stated, “The music I’m making now is about real things I’m experiencing.”

She continued, “It’s really powerful, strong, very pop. The theme generally is freedom — freedom from relationships, freedom from the darkness.”
