Kelly Clarkson’s forthcoming tenth studio album is titled “Chemistry.”

Clarkson stated in a Twitter video that she has been working on the album for “nearly three years” and was unsure if she would release it. While she is anxious about releasing this project but also “very excited.”

It’s called Chemistry because I was looking for a word — and it may also be the title of one of the songs on the album — that encapsulated everything,” Clarkson explained. “This album represents the entirety of a relationship. A relationship should not be reduced to a single factor. So there are positives, negatives, and ugly aspects to it.”

She added, “Chemistry can be incredibly amazing, sexy, cool, and fun, but it can also be extremely dangerous.”

She did not specify a release date but stated that it would be available soon.
