Jaafar Jackson Revives Michael’s Legend in the Upcoming Biopic

Jaafar Jackson took on the role of his late uncle, Michael Jackson, while filming the upcoming movie Michael in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The young star, 27, bore a strong likeness to the King of Pop in a stunning new photo from the film, as he submerged himself in character surrounded by the film team.

Jaafar was photographed outside Tower Records wearing a red varsity jacket similar to the Thriller icon’s outerwear, against a backdrop of Michael’s 1979 record Off The Wall.

This classic album, published by Epic Records at the time, had multiple chart-topping hits, including “Rock With You” and “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough.”

Michael Jackson’s nephew was seen rehearsing for a scene in front of the album cover, smiling brightly as he spoke with members of the production team.

With the end of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, production on the biography is now in full flow.

During project rehearsals in late November of last year, Jaafar showed off his amazing dancing ability.

Meanwhile, his first look from the upcoming biopic Michael has gone viral, as he sports the late singer’s signature 1990s ponytail while dressed in a white button-up shirt and black slacks.
