Due to illness in their traveling group, popular rock band Paramore had to cancel their show at San Francisco’s Chase Center on Saturday night (July 22).

The band quickly put out an official message on their Twitter account saying they were sorry that the show had to be canceled and letting people know it would now be on Monday, August 7, 2023.

Paramore told their loyal fans that they could still use the tickets they bought for the San Francisco show on the new date. If you can’t make the new date, the band’s post said that all ticket holders would get clear directions on how to get their money back within 7 days.

Chase Center, where the concert was meant to happen, agreed with the band and posted the same message on their social media accounts. The venue showed support for Paramore’s choice and said they were looking forward to seeing fans again at the new date.

Even though they had a setback, Paramore will still keep going on their This Is Why Tour, which supports their new studio record with the same name. The band’s tour will end in August, but they have even more exciting plans for the future. They recently announced that they will be part of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Europe, which starts on May 9, 2024.
