Recent weeks have revealed lots of timepieces on A-list wrists. Here’s a sampling seen at awards shows and more.

Robert Downey Jr.

Robert Downey Jr. was seen wearing the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Chronograph in stainless steel at the 2024 EE Bafta Film Awards last Sunday at the Royal Festival Hall. The watchcase—and Mr. Downey’s gray suit—were elegantly complemented by the sunray-brushed blue-gray dial, while the reverse side of the watch showcased the impeccably crafted chronograph mechanism. The Reverso Tribute Chronograph is powered by the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 860, a fully integrated hand-wound movement.

Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling attended The 96^th Oscar Nominees Luncheon celebrated at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills on Monday, February 12. Nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Ken in last year’s blockbuster Barbie, Gosling sported the 39mm TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Gold with a gold Milanese bracelet—tailor-made for him.

Noah Kahan

Singer-songwriter Noah Kahan, who was nominated for Best New Artist at this year’s Grammy Awards, wore a Panerai Luminor Quaranta BiTempo – PAM01365 on his wrist. Kahan sported another watch from the brand, the Panerai Luminor Due – PAM01274 – at the Billboard Power 100 event in late January, where he was bestowed the Rising Star Award.

Taylor Swift

Swifties take note: Taylor Swift wore a vintage Concord watch, not on her wrist, but as a necklace at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Crafted in an Art Deco style and decorated with Arabic numerals and a diamond bezel, the watch was transformed into an eye-catching accessory by jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. Interestingly, the watch’s hands were set to midnight, most probably a reference to her album Midnights, which was nominated for the Grammy Awards 2024 and won Album of the Year.

Matthew Vaughn

Filmmaker Matthew Vaughn and U.K.-based watchmaker Bremont presented a three-piece limited edition watch collection in celebration of Vaughn’s new spy thriller, Argylle. From Apple Original Films in association with MARV, Argylle arrived in theaters earlier this month, distributed in partnership with Universal Pictures. The film stars Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World franchise) as Elly Conway. The ensemble cast also features Henry Cavill as Agent Argylle, Dua Lipa, John Cena, Oscar winner Ariana DeBose, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, Sofia Boutella and Samuel L. Jackson. Bremont and Matthew Vaughn go way back, having collaborated in 2014 on the first Kingsman film. Bremont produced a number of exclusive timepieces for the movie that were also available for purchase.

Chanel

Chanel celebrated the opening of the Watches & Fine Jewelry Fifth Avenue Flagship earlier this month with ambassadors Amandla Stenberg, Sadie Sink and Whitney Peak, with a performance by Gracie Abrams. Actresses Carey Mulligan, America Ferrera, Michelle Williams, Kerry Washington and more were on hand to help celebrate.
