It was started by two young local brothers last April and is the definition of a family style, locally owned business.
Jacob and James said, “Our business name actually came from us, we always loved eating fries and wings growing up, so that’s how we got the name.”
The brothers focus on creating unique and homemade sauces and dry rubs for their wings. They have various flavors such as barbeque, shoyu, lemon pepper and spicy buffalo-ranch. You can also try their unique flavors through their fries. They have loaded bacon and secret barbeque fries, garlic parmesan cheese fries, chili barbeque fries and more.
With a rise in popularity in recent months, many of their customers have requested flavors that they have added to their menu, such as their secret sauce barbeque wings and fries.
If you are interested in checking out Chubby Fries and Wings, they have various pop-up locations throughout the year where you can watch them make their wings and fries fresh in front of you. They also have an array of catering options for parties and events as well.
You can find the brothers every Thursday at the Ono Grindz & Makeke market at Wai Kai in Ewa Beach and every first Friday of the month at What The Truck in the Waikele Shopping Center. On weekends, catch them on Saturdays at the Village Night Market at Pearlridge Center and at many of the Honolulu Night Markets throughout the year.
