NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A serial burglar with an extensive history of thefts and break-ins was recently charged with more burglaries days after he was arrested.
In early January, 43-year-old Ronald McKnight was accused of breaking into two cars at Shelby Bottoms Park in East Nashville, according to an arrest report.
Jan. 1, McKnight broke into a car through the passenger window and stole a man’s wallet and attempted to use his card at a nearby Kroger at 3410 Gallatin Pike, according to the report.

On Jan. 5, McKnight returned to Shelby Bottoms Park and again broke into a woman’s rear passenger window. When the woman returned to her car, she found her purse, medication and multiple credit cards had been stolen.
McKnight allegedly tried to use her cards at the Kroger at 711 Gallatin Pike and a Walmart at 3458 Dickerson Pike, police said.
McKnight was charged with burglary of a motor vehicle, attempted credit card and fraudulent use, and vandalism.
Six days ago, on Feb. 15 McKnight, who was wanted on 32 outstanding warrants related to aggravated burglaries, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery, was arrested by Metro police.
