GLACIER, Wash. — First responders were dispatched to Mount Baker Highway (SR542) about 7:50am on Sunday, February 25th, due to reports of a single-vehicle crash about 51 miles east of I-5.
Washington State Patrol (WSP) reported initial information received was that the vehicle was 50 feet off the roadway with 4 occupants about 3 miles below the ski resort.
The vehicle was determined to be a total loss, all occupants were able to self-extricate themselves and none reported needing medical care the driver was transported to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center by aid personnel.
WSP is investigating the cause of the crash.
