Reward increased for info on firearm trafficking suspect who fled with 2-year-old kid in car

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) on Monday have increased their reward for information leading to the arrest of a 22-year-old firearms trafficking suspect.

Marshals say Jaivon Williams is wanted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

Marshals say he fled from police on Feb. 2 after forcing the mother of his 2-year-old child out of the car he was in and led officers on a chase with his child still in the car.

Williams crashed the car into a tree and left the child at a nearby home, but continued to run from police on foot.

Marshals say Williams is 6 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He is known to frequent the Cleveland area.

Anyone with information on Williams’ whereabouts has been asked to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED.

Marshals say a $5,000 reward is available for information that leads to his arrest.
