Outlaw Music Festival set return to Riverbend this year with legendary headliners


CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Willie Nelson’s iconic Americana tour, Outlaw Music Festival, is coming back to Cincinnati’s Riverbend Music Center this year.

Come Sept. 11, Nelson and several legendary artists, including Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp and Southern Avenue, will take the stage for an unforgettable night.

“This year’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour promises to be the biggest and best yet with this lineup of legendary artists. I am thrilled to get back on the road again with my family and friends playing the music we love for the fans we love,” Willie Nelson said in a press release.

The first Outlaw Music Festival began in 2016 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. After a sold-out show and a successful performance, the tour became on of North America’s biggest annual touring franchise.

Previous headliners include The Avett Brothers, Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan and more.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 1 at 10 a.m., and can be bought on Ticketmaster or Riverbend’s website.

Citi cardholders will get special presale access to tickets starting Tuesday at 10 a.m. to Thursday at 10 p.m.

VIP packages are also for sale and include great seats with exclusive merchandise options.
