Models bare all in see-through tops as sexy trend hits Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week is one of the most stylish calendar events of the year, and for good reason. One popular designer recently dropped jaws as models were sent down the catwalk in totally see-through tops

If you’re going to make a statement, Paris Fashion week is a good place to do it.

As one of the most celebrated annual events in the fashion calendar, it’s where the biggest new trends will be showcased on the runway. So far we’ve already seen some wild and wonderful looks, but the latest show from Saint Laurent has left people jaw-dropped.

The luxury fashion brand sent models down the catwalk in completely see-through tops. And – yes – their chests were on full display in the name of art.

Models were seen flashing for the audience as they donned some of the brand’s latest looks. They took the nude image to a whole new level as they whipped off their bras for the occasion.

On Tuesday night, Saint Laurent’s creative director, Anthony Vaccarello, showed off the fall collection that was made using seriously flimsy silk hosiery fabrics. It’s reported he wanted to do something very “fragile”, and worried that some of the outfits may not even hold together for the show.

It’s said he wanted to create clothing that disappears, or would struggle to survive for longer than 24 hours. Based on how little the models are wearing, you may say he managed to pull it off.

He told WWD: “Don’t ask me about how we might produce it. I think my job is to propose something different that is not necessarily realistic or necessary.”

It looks as though nude is definitely necessary when it comes to fashion, and it could be set to become a huge new trend.
