In her video, Brianna Via (@brialiving) told her followers what she thinks you “shouldn’t be spending money on when re-building a house.”

For her first hack, the TikToker advised her audience to seek out sheets of mirror from local businesses that supply bathrooms or gyms.

“They always have these huge sheets, this is almost nine feet and I got it for $300, it’s stuck to the wall so it’s pet and Roomba-friendly,” she said, showing viewers her living room mirror.

“You can customize the frames or even make them fun shapes like I did for this bathroom.”

For her next home decor suggestion, Brianna explained that she used the same logic for furniture, asking a local woodshop to create her coffee table.

“Bring in a picture and ask for a quote,” she told her followers.

For her next tip, Brianna recommended shopping for drapes and blinds online.

“I think Amazon has amazing options, they have blackout textured ones, sheer ones, they’re all great,” she said.

“[They have] pretty affordable ones, they’re also easy to install but just super annoying to measure, keep in mind.”

Brianna also repurposed her leftover bathroom tiles to create decorative trays.

Finally, she shared some of her budget-friendly advice when shopping for rugs.

“You can get ginormous rugs for cheap too, this is from Walmart, it was $100,” she told her viewers.

“This 13-foot rug was about $200 on sale but it is really thin so I recommend a rug pad to make it squishy and it’ll feel like luxury.

“Another option is to grab two smaller rugs and overlay them together like this.”
