Rave reviews for ‘quirky’ new street food spot


The much-anticipated Hillbilly’s Street Kitchen, at Worley’s Hope and Anchor, just held its opening weekend.

The new restaurant, which also has a sister site in Malvern, is serving up a range of burgers, chicken wings and sides.

Customers over the weekend were impressed with the new restaurant, praising its “fantastic” food, “quirky” décor and “amazingly friendly” staff.

Catherine Mulvey said: “We loved Argee Bhaji so were sad to see that go but it’s great to have a new restaurant in its place.

“Hillbilly’s was busy on Saturday night but we managed to get a walk-in and the staff were friendly.

“The place looks great – they have done a great job of decorating, the menu is unique and, most importantly, the food was fantastic.

“There was a real buzz around Stourport and the town is lucky to have some fantastic bars and restaurants – hopefully Hillbilly’s will bring more people into the town”.

Carol Wallace said: “We had a great time last night at Stourport. Your food was amazing. Will definitely be coming back. Keep up the great work.”

Matthew Smith said: “We’ve just tried the new Hillbilly’s restaurant on their opening night in Stourport. Incredible food with a really cool atmosphere, quirky decoration where they have obviously given a lot of thought. I have feeling this is the beginning of something brilliant.”

Conor Morgan said: “A great new place serving American style BBQ classics. We tried the burgers, fries and chicken tenders, all of which were fantastic.

“The restaurant has a cool atmosphere with neon lighting and rustic design elements, we will definitely return here.
