You can be part of the renewed hope of spring in Starved Rock Country by contributing to the Jaiden’s Tree of Hope Food Drive.

Jaiden Allen was a student at L-P High School who passed away at this time of year in 2021. His mother and sister, Sangita and Alina Allen, have organized a charitable foundation in his name. Jaiden’s Tree of Hope Foundation is collecting non-perishable food donations. The collected food will go to area food pantries and to needy veterans.

If you’d like to contribute to Jaiden’s Tree of Hope, you can drop off your donations at Family Pride Cleaners on Progress Boulevard in Peru, starting on March 14. The food drive runs through April 18, Jaiden’s birthday.
