FRISCO, Texas (KXAN) — The 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards will be held live this spring at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, the Academy of Country Music announced Monday.
The 59th Academy of Country Music Awards will broadcast live on Thursday, May 16, with event streaming planned on Prime Video, ACM officials said in the release. The event’s venue — Ford Center at The Star — is the Dallas Cowboys’ world headquarters.
Pre-sale tickets will be available to ACM’s A-List subscribers beginning Wednesday, officials said in the release. Those interested can sign up for the ACM A-List’s newsletter to receive a pre-sale code. A general sale will begin on Friday at 10 a.m., with tickets available via SeatGeek.
Ticket prices will vary between $330 and $1,200 pre-taxes and fees, officials added.
This marks the second consecutive year the ACM Awards will broadcast from Frisco. The Ford Center at The Star first opened in 2016 and is home to the Dallas Cowboys training facility as well as sporting events yearround, the release said.
“Frisco, Texas and The Star District proved to be the perfect new home for the evolution of this Emmy-nominated ‘Party,’ bringing music’s biggest global superstars to the passionate and loyal Texas Country Music fans!” ACM CEO Damon Whiteside said in the release. “We’re thrilled to bring ACM Awards week to life again at the home of America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys, along with our best-in-class partners at Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, Dick Clark Productions and our Executive Producer, Raj Kapoor, to make this year’s show even bigger and better. Fans will certainly want to be there in person to experience all the incredible moments we have in store, and we can’t wait to see everyone in Texas!”
Information surrounding the 2024 ceremony’s host, nominees, performers and extra ACM events will be released in the coming months, officials noted.
