The First Set of Oscar Presenters for 2024 Has Been Announced


Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicolas Cage, and Al Pacino were been nominated to the first round of Oscar presenters for this year.

Brendan Fraser, Michelle Yeoh, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Ke Huy Quan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Zendaya, Mahershala Ali, Lupita Nyong’o, and Sam Rockwell will also present at the 96th Academy Awards, Variety reports.

Raj Kapoor will reportedly be the show’s executive producer and showrunner, alongside Molly McNearney and Katy Mullan.

Interestingly, Jimmy Kimmel will return to present the Academy Awards for the fourth time.

At the time of the announcement, Academy CEO Bill Kramer stated, “We are thrilled about Jimmy returning to host and Molly [McNearney] returning as executive producer for the Oscars.”

“They share our love of movies and our commitment to producing a dynamic and entertaining show for our global audience,” he added.

He went on to say, “We are deeply grateful to Jimmy, Molly and their teams for their incredible creativity and partnership and for going on this ride with us again.”

Meanwhile, the Academy Awards will take place on March 10 at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT from the Dolby Theatre.

Furthermore, Oppenheimer leads this year’s nominations with 13, followed by Poor Things with 11 and Killers of the Flower Moon with ten.

Other nominees for Best Picture included American Fiction, Anatomy of a Fall, Barbie, The Holdovers, Maestro, The Zone of Interest, and Past Lives.
