Bradley Cooper Honors Leonard Bernstein on His Date with Gigi Hadid

Bradley Cooper celebrated his date with girlfriend Gig Hadid by paying tribute to a renowned character he recently played.

Cooper and Hadid went for a breakfast date at Corner Bar in Chinatown on Monday before visiting the model’s Guest in Residence store in SoHo.

Hadid, 28, wore wide-leg jeans, a white T-shirt, and a brown granny square cardigan for the occasion, which she paired with Wales Bonner x Adidas Samba sneakers and her signature DMY sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Cooper, 49, dressed more casually, wearing a black “Musicians of the New York Philharmonic” hoodie in honor of music hero Leonard Bernstein.

The actor played Bernstein in his most recent film, Maestro.

Bernstein was the Philharmonic’s music director from 1958 to 1969, then laureate conductor until his death in 1990.

Despite never having met Bernstein, the Limitless star has developed a close emotional attachment with him.

However, the actor spent six years studying the musician’s life in preparation for his role in Maestro.
