‘Downton Abbey’ Co-Stars Michelle Dockery and Laura Carmichael Reunite

Michelle Dockery and Laura Carmichael, from Downton Abbey, reunited for a wonderful night out in London.

On Tuesday, the two lifelong acquaintances and former co-stars attended the press night and afterparty for Donmar Warehouse’s love drama The Human Body.

Dockery, 42, wore a sophisticated black shirt and blazer with blue trousers and bejewelled black boots. She accessorised with a simple gold necklace.

Meanwhile, Carmichael, 37, wore a grey-black shirt over blue trousers with a beige blazer on top. She accessorized with a large crossbody bag to complete the ensemble.

The two actors played sisters in the popular period drama. Dockery played Lady Mary, the eldest Crawley sister, and Carmichael played Lady Edith, the middle sister, from 2010 to 2015.

The on-screen sisters last appeared in public together in 2022, to promote their sequel film Downton Abbey: A New Era.

The new reunion comes after Dockery married Jasper Waller-Bridge in September 2023, and Carmichael was a bridesmaid. Several Downton Abbey co-stars attended the wedding.

Carmichael, on the other hand, is taking a vacation from acting to focus on raising her baby, whom she and husband Michael C Fox welcomed in 2021.
