Sarah Murdoch, a 51-year-old British-Australian model, and her husband Lachlan Murdoch were spotted kissing while attending the event on Sunday.
Sarah arrived at the event looking stylish in white slacks, a matching singlet, and sneakers, joined by Lachlan.
During the race, he leaned in to kiss his wife, emphasizing their intimacy, and he was seen leaning on the balcony edge while puffing on a huge cigar.
Both parents of kids Kalan Alexander and Aidan Patrick, as well as a daughter, attended the inauguration of Qtopia, Sydney’s debut LGBTQIA+ museum.
The couple, who live in Bellevue Hill’s Le Manoir, married in 1999.
Qtopia, located in Darlinghurst, is historically significant as the previous location of a police station where 53 people were imprisoned following a 1978 street march campaigning for gay rights and the decriminalization of same-sex relationships.
In 2016, the New South Wales Police Force apologized for the violence that occurred during the march, which is now known as the inaugural Sydney Mardi Gras.
