Blake Lively Repairs Her 2022 Met Gala Outfit at Kensington Palace

Blake Lively recently made news because she worked on her dress for the Met Gala in 2022 on her own. The former Gossip Girl star shared the behind-the-scenes moment on her Instagram story. It showed how she changed her dress in a way that wasn’t typical.

Lively, who is 35 years old, made fun of herself on her Instagram story by calling herself a “clown” for jumping over the ropes at the Crown to Couture show at London’s Kensington Palace. She wrote, “When you’re the clown who hops over the rope at the museum to fix the exhibit. Happy almost Virgo season folx.”

Lively then showed off her DIY skills by getting on her knees and moving her famous dress around in the exhibit. She wanted people to see how she was changing, so she made sure the inside of the dress was on the outside in the middle. Lorraine Schwartz, a jewelry artist, helped her do this job.

At the show in Princess Diana’s old home, her gown and 200 other well-known pieces are on display. Items like Lizzo’s 2022 Met Gala dress by Thom Browne and Lady Gaga’s 2020 MTV Awards dress by Christopher John Rogers will be on display.

The Georgian royals of the 18th century had a big impact on rock and red carpet fashion, and this exhibition aims to show how. It does this by showing a number of historic gowns.

Blake Lively took a moment to look at her Met Gala outfit from last year. She also liked the crown created by Lorraine Schwartz, which went well with her dress.

In a follow-up post, she talked about how amazed she was to see the crown at Kensington Palace and how she feels nostalgic and like a “kid playing dress up” when she wears gowns and stolen jewels. She was blown away when she saw her outfit in a museum show, and it’s a memory she will always treasure.
