Kevin Hart Breaks Silence on Katt Williams’ Criticism of Career Choices

Kevin Hart has lately broken his silence about Katt Williams’ criticism of his film career.

In an interview with WSJ. Magazine, Hart responded to a question concerning Williams’ criticism of his career decisions.

“It’s just that. It’s entertainment,” the 44-year-old explained.

Hart commented, “If that’s what he fuels himself off, God bless him. Good for him.”

“I hope he gets all that he needs and he wants, and I’m here cheering for him from afar,” said the Ride Along actor.

Hart said, “That’s my real energy. I really mean it!”

“That’s how happy and secure I am with my career and my life,” the actor explained.

Previously, Williams blamed Hart’s efforts during his most recent podcast appearance.

Williams went on to say, “For a five-year period, every single movie that Kevin Hart did was a movie that had been on my desk that all I had said was ‘Just can we take some of this step and fetching out and then I can do it?’”

“And me saying that and them going ‘oh yeah, no problem’ and then going to give it to this other guy and having him do it just like it was and acting like I’m a bad person because I keep standing on my standards,” he told reporters at the time.

Williams also referred to Hart as a “gatekeeper” into the comedy profession during the conversation.

Williams held a hatred against Hart and Tiffany Haddish in the entertainment world.

However, Hart noted that Williams should “take responsibility for his own career” after commenting on the former’s selections in 2018.
