Savannah and Chase Chrisley Say Parents Detained in Prison with ‘Mold, Asbestos’

Reality TV stars Savannah and Chase Chrisley say that their parents Todd and Julie Chrisley are living in hell in jail, where snakes crawl across the floor.

In the most recent episode of Savannah’s podcast “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley,” the brothers talked about how their parents’ 19-year prison sentence is going.

Chase said that the jail is not good enough to house people because it has black mold and asbestos.

At the beginning of the show, Savannah told listeners that Chase had recently visited their father and “got to hear about all the chaos going on at his facility,” which they both called a “nightmare.”

In February, Savannah said that the jail where her mother was being held did not have air conditioning. Chase said that neither Todd nor Julie have air conditioning anymore.

“They are both in states where it gets to be 100-plus degrees, and there’s no air conditioning,” said Chase.

“I mean, air conditioning is the least of it. When you’ve got black mold, asbestos, lead-based paint, snakes,” said Savannah.

Todd and Julie Chrisley were found guilty of cheating banks out of more than $30 million in June 2022. They did this by making up fake financial statements that inflated their wealth. In November of that year, they were given their punishments.

Todd got 12 years in prison because he was called the “mastermind” behind the couple’s theft over a number of years. Julie got seven years because she was thought to have played a smaller role in the plan.
