UTICA, N.Y. — After nearly 115 years of home cooking on the corner of Jay Street and Pellettieri Avenue in Utica, a local restaurant is up for sale.
Joe’s Restaurant—better known as Pellettieri Joe’s—was listed this week.
The current owner, Tony Zysk, is looking for a buyer who will uphold the tradition of homemade cooking. He is even open to assisting the new owners and sharing the traditional recipes.
Just don’t ask for butter. (If you’ve eaten there, you get that reference.)
The restaurant is being offered for $650,000, which includes all assets.
Throughout its history since 1910, Joe’s has had three different owners.
