Blackpink, a popular K-pop group, has announced that they will be releasing a video game titled Blackpink The Game. In addition to that, a brand new original score, as well as a music video will be released for the game.

The news was broken on April 4 by their management company, YG Entertainment: “Along with TakeOne Company, we will release BLACKPINK The Game in the second quarter of this year.”

Players will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a world in which they can take on the role of Blackpink’s producers. In addition, the game will include a variety of features, such as a management and training simulation. An additional comment from an agency source was as follows:

“Through a new format, [fans] will be able to see various aspects of BLACKPINK that they were not able to see before. We hope that fans around the world can enjoy and have a special experience in the world of BLACKPINK The Game.”
