(25News Now) – Weather forced some cancellations on Thursday afternoon but we still squeezed in a few games and events across Central Illinois.

In baseball, Normal Community scored a 7-1 victory over Metamora. In softball, Bloomington Central Catholic edged Peoria Notre Dame 2-1. In soccer, Metamora topped Bloomington Central Catholic 4-1 while Pekin ran past IVC 9-0.

On the track, Pontiac hosted a track invite at Illinois Wesleyan.
