Take a Look at the Award Winning Teeth Brushing Gadget

The Swishy, invented by University of Notre Dame senior Julia Cutajar, is a fun and smart way of helping teach your kids how to brush their teeth! The whale-shaped gadget has a holder on the top for a toothbrush, an easy in-and-out for kiddos. Another super cool aspect to the gadget is its light-up teeth! Cutajar said when kids are learning how to brush their teeth, they normally don’t realize they have to brush all of their teeth, not just the front teeth. The Swishy’s teeth are sectioned into four parts, two parts in the front, two in the back.

The teeth light up based on how long you need to brush each section, helping kids get a fully-clean mouth! The Swishy is on display this weekend at North America’s largest housewares trade show, The Inspired Home Show at McCormick Place in Chicago. Cutajar’s swishy won third-place in the Global Innovation Awards, where she won $1,500 for her design. To learn more about Swishy, visit Cutajar at The Inspired Home Show or visit her LinkedIn.
