Donald Trump, the former US president, was likened to the late great Tupac Shakur after he traveled to New York City to turn himself in on charges of falsifying business records related to hush money payments he made during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Trump’s lawyer made a comparison between the former president and Tupac, which made the late rapper’s sister angry.

Tupac’s sister told TMZ, “My brother was measured by his integrity, his principles, and personal and collective responsibility.” She called the recent comments made by Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba, “blasphemous.”

She also said that her brother took responsibility when he was on trial for sexual abuse in 1994 and that she doesn’t see much accountability from Trump.

The news source said that Trump’s lawyer compared him to Tupac on the same day that he flew to New York City to be indicted.

The lawyer also said that Trump’s legal problems will make him more popular in the polls, just like Tupac’s record sales went up after he went to jail.

The rapper’s singer, Set Shakur, replied that Tupac’s popularity didn’t grow because he was in jail. Instead, it grew because people who listened to his music “were able to measure him by his words and actions that aligned.”

She went on to say that her late brother was a good person who stood up for people who needed help and always had other people in mind.
