Before reuniting at the premiere of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, Taylor Swift and Beyonce bonded during a one-on-one conversation.

On Wednesday, October 11, Kyle Buchanan, a journalist who attended the premiere at the Groove in Los Angeles, revealed that there were rumors the Lover singer was “bringing a major, major guest as her plus one.”

She was also observed having dinner with the Break My Soul singer at Katsuya, a Japanese restaurant, according to a subsequent report.

Beyonce eventually joined Swift on the red carpet of the premiere, wearing a futuristic outfit consisting of a black torso with a metallic chest plate and mirrored sunglasses.

Later, the Midnights musician paid a heartfelt tribute to the Renaissance artist on Instagram, writing, “I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce‘s influence.”

“… She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale,” she said.

The Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour film will be released worldwide on Friday, October 13.
