Amazon‘s first-ever spring shopping event is here. Appropriately dubbed the Amazon Big Spring Sale, the six-day event runs from March 20-25, offering discounts of up to 50 percent on name-brand electronics, beauty products, fitness equipment, home goods, fashion and more.
Think of this as Amazon’s spring Prime Day, with a chance to score steep savings on everyday products, must-have new releases, and seasonal and gifting items.

What Is Amazon’s Big Spring Sale?
As the name suggests, Amazon’s Big Spring Sale is the retailer’s latest shopping event, following Prime Day in July and the tongue-twister Prime Big Deal Days, which last took place in October. This is the first year that Amazon is holding its Big Spring Sale but the event is expected to be similar to Prime Day, with shoppers able to score limited-time discounts across Amazon’s wide range of categories.
This year’s Big Spring Sale kicked off March 20 and runs through March 25, and shoppers can find all the deals live on amazon.com/bigspringsale.
What Are the Best Amazon Big Spring Sale Deals and Discounts?
While Amazon has hundreds of daily deals that are constantly being updated, the Big Spring Sale will feature dedicated discounts across the entire site.
Amazon says shoppers can save up to 50% off select beauty products; up to 50% off sports and outdoors equipment; up to 40% off select home and kitchen; up to 40% off spring fashion apparel for men, women and kids; and up to 40% off select electronics.
In addition, Amazon says to expect deep discounts on “warm-weather essentials,” like outdoor furniture, lawn and garden tools, spring cleaning products and organizational supplies. New deals will drop daily, so shoppers are encouraged to keep checking the site throughout the six-day event.
Like Prime Day, the best deals will be on Amazon Devices, like the Alexa-enabled Amazon Echo, and the best-selling Kindle e-reader. While pricing has yet to be announced, previous deal days have dropped the price of the Echo smart speaker down to just $19.99, while the Kindle has been discounted to well below $100. Amazon will also be promoting small businesses that sell on the site. Head to Amazon’s Support Small storefront to find items by Black-owned, woman-owned, military family-owned, Hispanic-owned, Asian & Pacific Islander-owned (AAPI) and LGBTQIA-owned businesses.
Do You Have to Be a Prime Member to Shop Amazon’s Big Spring Sale?
Unlike Prime Day, where deals are reserved for Amazon Prime Members, the site says everyone will be able to shop their Big Spring Sale, regardless of whether you have a Prime membership or not. However, Prime members “will have special access to a suite of exciting, exclusive deals” on the Big Spring Sale landing page.
